KC CLMA Survey for Lab Safety Needs

SAFETY SHORTS

Thanks to all of you who have completed the KC Lab Safety Focus Group Needs Assessment Survey. We received 13 online surveys and 19 hard copy surveys for a total of 32 surveys. Most of the survey respondents work in hospital labs, have supervisory positions, have more than 20 years experience and prefer e mail communication. Training and education was identified as the greatest need and a majority of respondents suggested meeting twice a year.

The KC CLMA Board of Directors and Education Subcommittee plans to keep these needs in mind when planning educational events for the upcoming years.
